Founder of the IDSF General Avivi has made this point multiple times: the best way to end the war with the least amount of collateral damage is for the US to demand the extradition of Hamas leaders from Qatar.

Why has this not been done?

Best guess: $$$$

We have a military base there. We shouldn’t be protecting those sons of bitches but we are. The US should really demand that they hand over those Hamas animals.

Until people like HM King Charles III rebukes the al Thani family publicly , until the football associations reject Qatari sponsorship, until the Russell Group Universities cut ties with them , Qatar will be protected .

Both Qatar and Turkey should be punished for being sponsors of terrorism - they should be forced to pay reparations to the Israelis , who could then use those funds for the redevelopment of Gaza and the confirmation of sovereignty over Judaea , Samaria, Golan and all of Jerusalem .

Yes always follow the money. None of the EU leaders want to upset the Qataris for obvious reasons. They are owned.

And yet the IDF participates in drills with Qatar as reported by the Times of Israel in April. This is not adding up. Israel and Qatar have always had overlapping interests.. It is a bit hard to imagine but obviously Qatar’s ideology and its US agency (representation as a mediator in multiple conflicts) are kept completely separate.

The link is the US. Israel is important to the US but Qatar have been their mediator agents for far too long. At least since the 1990s. Israel’s war is but one among many to the US. Israel just gets more negative exposure. That’s not enough for the US to ditch Qatar and, clearly, Qatar’s PR front isn’t reason enough for Israel to ditch them either

Just like with the way the recent Syrian Druze events were covered, I find pro Israel voices a bit naive sometimes. If it is not naivety but a calculation then obviously the calculation is wrong. That partly explains their resounding global PR failure despite being on the right side of the conflict in my opinion

It’s a valid point. Qatar has been funding Radical Islamists for years but that didn’t stop Bibi from encouraging them to keep sending money to Hamas. Money that was presumably used to build out the tunnel network and other infrastructure. Is that the reason Bibi doesn’t publicly call out Qatar now for its complicity in 10/7 and it’s giving asylum to Hamas’ leadership or did Trump cut Bibi in on his business deal with the Qataris? There’s a lot to be uncovered here and a lot of people with the blood of Jews and Palestinians on their hands. Hamas won’t surrender and release the hostages because they know they have deep pockets in the Arab world still supporting them. I fear that some of our leaders in Israel and in the US also have their hands in those deep pockets. If we heard what they were really saying behind closed stores I think we’d all vomit.

Excellent piece, thank you for sharing. I believe that Qatar is not only attacking Israel, Qatar is actually doing its best to attack/bring down Europe and the U.S., and they have been very successful. They have obviously bought up a lot of property, made "investments", funded universities, educational projects without mentioning the issue of ideology, and secures funding for 'humanitarian causes' from countries such as Sweden for Gaza, the West Bank, Afghanistan no matter after how many decades of funding.

Yes! Qatar has gifted my country a golden Boeing bordello which is currently being stripped and refitted for use by the president, who intends to keep the plane after leaving office. Totally kosher, right? F Qatar & F this international criminal racket.

Daniel keep up the good work of informing a reluctant world to the realities of what is happening. As a Christian, who believes every word in the Bible, Old and New Testament I see in world events that the fight between the son of promise and the bond woman’s son is coming to its full fruition. Ezekiel and Daniel have some very difficult passages to understand but they are becoming more clear day by day. The God of Israel will bare His strong arm and defend His covenant people. He may permit a period of severe trial, the book of Judges pays testament to that. But I am always encouraged to read of the success of Gideon and his 300 strong army.

What Qatar says or does is their right and has nothing to do with us.

We where not ever responsible for Isreal

We are not responsible for Isreal

We never will be responsible for Isreal.

Truth is it is time Isreal was held accountable for their actions and the sooner the better.

I started to read old posts after Sheri Oz shared your article recently about your tour guiding “progressives and conservatives” (which I found quite interesting).

I agree with your conclusion here and cannot, for the life of me, understand Trump’s obsession with Qatar other than $.

So true. Tonight on CNN the top leader of Qatar (I can’t bring myself to name him), dropped ‘the Zionist Premier’ into his diatribe, and the useful idiotic CNN reporter didn’t even notice. Or purposely didn’t call it out. They are all complicit to the terror network. They should all be brought to justice.

Did you read the whole thing? If so, thanks. Please share. Qatar told Hamas to keep the hostages.
